Available now from Amazon Painting with architecture in Mind, Essays on Painting and Architecture brings together leading and up and coming authors who address the question of painting in relation to its architectural frame or spaces of display. They consider ways in which thinking about painting (its modes of expression and forms of expansion) challenges the architecturalised environment. Essays include writing on Henri Matisse, Michael Majerus, Gerwald Rockenshaub, Fred Sandback, LawrenceWeiner, Thomas Scheibitz, Remy Zaugg and others.

Contributors: Eric Allliez, Jean-Claude Bonne, John Chilver, Alex Coles, Bernice Donszelman, Catherine Ferguson, Linda Khatir andMark Pimlott. Edited by Ed Whittaker andAlex Landrum - includes an insert especially designed for the book by Brad Lochore.
